The Center for Research on Learning and Teaching in Engineering (CRLT-Engin) at the University of Michigan invites applications for an Instructional Consultant position focused on engineering graduate student instructor development. 

Applicants should hold a PhD in engineering, engineering education, or other STEM-related field. Applicants with extensive experience will be considered for an assistant director title. Effective use of groups in the classroom can increase student learning and enhance students' problem solving abilities, if instructors ensure that all students are engaged and included. In this session, participants will explore research-based frameworks to enhance teamwork skills, engage students, increase cooperative learning, and support dysfunctional teams.
