Sara Armstrong earned her Ph.D. from the Interdisciplinary Theatre and Drama program at Northwestern University in 2013. She holds an M.A. in Theatre Studies from the University of Kansas, a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Oklahoma, and was a postgraduate fellow in Dramaturgy/Playwriting at the University of Birmingham, England. Her dissertation focused on the role operating theories of embodiment play in privileging and marginalizing particular student bodies in performance learning spaces. She has over twenty years of experience as an actor, director, dramaturg, arts administrator, and educator across professional, university, and community contexts. She has led the CRLT theatre program since 2012 establishing strategic priorities for the company that align with the needs of a range of higher education communities and the Players commitments to advancing social justice and equity in academic spaces.

Christine Simonian Bean earned her Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Theatre and Drama from Northwestern University in 2016. She also holds an M.A. in Theatre Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a B.A. in Drama from the University of California, Irvine. Her dissertation focused on theories of spectatorship, reality, and embodiment. She has taught classes on acting, theatre history, and critical race and gender theory, and has worked as both a dramaturg and a performer. Most recently, Christine was an Assistant Director for Faculty Programs and Services at Columbia University in the City of New York with a focus on initiatives related to inclusive teaching and learning. Previously, she worked at the Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching at Northwestern University, where she assisted graduate students and postdocs on course design, teaching practices, and professionalization. At CRLT, she works in the theatre program designing, facilitating, and assessing programs that promote equitable and inclusive teaching, learning, and institutional climates.

Kathryn Pamula earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Theatre Arts with a concentration in Performing Arts Management from the University of Michigan. She came to CRLT as a Program Assistant in 2013 and joined the CRLT Theatre Program staff in 2015. In her current role, Kathryn works with clients both on- and off-campus to coordinate performance and travel logistics. She manages the Players performance and rehearsal schedules and administers performance agreements and Actor's Equity Association contracts. She has previously worked at several professional theatre companies, including Manhattan Theatre Club.

Courtney Riddle earned a B.A. in Communications and Theater Arts from Eastern Michigan University in 2002. She has been working with the CRLT Players since 2010. As the Recruitment Manager and Rehearsal Director for The Players, she is responsible for all actor recruitment, casting, and training, as well as directing all existing sketches in The Players repertoire. Courtney has been a performer in the music and theatrical world for over 25 years.
