Both first-time and returning GSIs will benefit from discussing a variety of concerns with a panel of experienced GSIs. Likely discussion topics include overcoming nervousness, dealing with disruptive students, getting students actively involved in class, handling problems with the course instructor or fellow GSIs, and assessing success as a GSI. Panelists will also share lessons learned and useful reference materials.
