Effective Teaching Practices for the Flipped Classroom *SESSION IS FULL*

The session will highlight general principles for designing a flipped class, including how to shift the first exposure of course content before class, how to hold students accountable for completing pre-class work, and how to actively engage students during class time. Participants will reflect on their teaching and discuss strategies for teaching in flipped classrooms. They will also have the opportunity to explore and discuss how to use effective teaching practices for teaching flipped classes in their own disciplines.
