This interactive workshop will explore the use of digital media assignments (i.e., assignments that incorporate the use of digital content such as blogs, video, or audio). Such assignments can provide students with multiple entry points to access and engage with course content and can also help students develop key skills in digital content creation and literacy. Participants in this workshop will consider potential applications of digital media assignments, strategies for creating and assessing them, and some select tools to enable or support these types of assignments.

Please bring a laptop with you if you would like to try out some of the technologies during the workshop. CRLT will also have a few devices available if you are unable to bring one.
