Susan Collins served as dean of the Ford School of Public Policy (2007-2017) and was appointed acting provost in January 2020. Before coming to U-M, she was on the economics faculty at Georgetown and Harvard universities and a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. She will share her insights into leadership at U-M and the challenges that face higher education in the United States. Susan will open the session with brief remarks and looks forward to the questions and discussion that will follow.
