Designing and Facilitating Group Work for Blended/Online Courses

As we move into a blended/online/flex environment, many instructors are thinking about how to structure group work in these new modalities. This interactive synchronous session will help participants consider how to use synchronous and asynchronous approaches to group work, how to design effective group work assignments, and touch on technologies that can facilitate group work as well as build classroom community and keep students socially connected in blended/online courses. The workshop will include some pre-work in Canvas.

Synchronous Online Workshops via Zoom
Synchronous online workshops are facilitated  “in real time” via Zoom in which everyone participates at the same time.  Participants can join online from home, office, or any location with stable Internet access and audio-visual capabilities. This workshop will include pre-work to be done via Canvas.
