Session Abstract: In this interactive remote workshop, we will discuss best practices for equity-focused facilitation in face-to-face and online classes. Through a series of reflections, small group activities, and large group discussions, we will practice different facilitation techniques to encourage participation and handle conflict in the classroom. By the end of the session, participants will leave with a set of co-developed strategies for common facilitation challenges they might face in their own courses.
