Shubha G. Kashyap earned her Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development from Penn State University, M.A in Student Affairs Administration and B.S. in Psychology from Michigan State University. Shubha serves as the Director of Student Affairs and Faculty Relations for Nexus at the College of Engineering for the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. In this new role, she leads strategic planning to develop a student services strategy for online and continuing education learners. Additionally, Shubha supports new online degree programs and faculty as they move from ideation to launch.

Shubha’s focus on increasing access to education is evident throughout her career. She specializes in academic affairs, student and faculty development programming, and navigation of higher education systems. She has successfully launched several online degree programs, managed small and large-scale strategic education and change initiatives, and is an advocate for first-generation college students and inclusive education practices. Shubha has taught graduate and undergraduate courses at Penn State University, and has extensive demonstrated experience in change management, business coaching, strategic planning, appreciative inquiry, process consultation, and facilitation
