Poetic and raw, this performance speaks to the fear and uncertainty many people in higher education feel as their professional lives continue to be radically altered by massive changes in the academy. Audiences engage in facilitated dialogue to consider what it means to engage in values-focused work in the current moment.
The session is appropriate for faculty, graduate student instructors, and academic leaders. The session can be offered in person in 60, 90, or 120 minute versions. It is available by request, depending on the Players capacity.
In this session, participants will:
- Reflect individually on recent changes that have affected their experience in higher education.
- Consider how to exercise individual agency and choice in the current moment.
- Connect with others in community about a communal way forward.
