Resource Title:
Flipping your Class - U-M Faculty Examples
Course Type:
All
At U-M, there are a number of faculty who use a range of teaching methods to flip their class.  The examples that follow describe faculty members' motivations for using either a strategic, partial, or full flipped classroom.  In addition, the web pages describe how they chose to first expose students to content, how they create accountability, what occurs in in their face-to-face classrooms, and the impact of these teaching methods on students and student learning from the faculty perspective.  These examples highlight the flipped classroom approach in various disciplinary contexts and employ a range of methods to provide first exposure, create accountability, and engage students in the classroom.
