Sharing Our Work: Insights from Faculty Communities for Inclusive Teaching (strolling lunch & poster session)

Learn about the wide range of projects sponsored by the Faculty Communities for Inclusive Teaching (FCIT) initiative during the 2016-17 academic year. Featured projects, from seven U-M schools and colleges, include:  a series of workshops and discussions on inclusive teaching for faculty in the new Nutritional Sciences Department, a working group for School of Education faculty collaborating on designing a pedagogy course for GSIs, and a reading and discussion group focused on the multilingual writing classroom. Posters highlight key insights and teaching resources generated by these and many other projects from across campus that have brought faculty together to learn about campus climate and inclusive teaching. Enjoy lunch, engage in conversation with FCIT participants, and learn more about applying for funds to support new projects in Winter 2018.

For more information about the Faculty Communities for Teaching initiative or to apply for funds, see the FCIT webpage.
