Sharing Our Work: Key Insights from Faculty Communities for Inclusive Teaching (strolling lunch & poster session)

Learn about the wide range of projects sponsored by the Faculty Communities for Inclusive Teaching (FCIT) initiative during the 2017-18 academic year. Featured projects, from 10 U-M schools and colleges, include: the development of a tool that faculty can use to evaluate their own inclusive teaching practices, a learning community focusing on how to best meet the learning needs of working-class students, and the development of a faculty program for peer-to-peer teaching support with an explicit focus on inclusivity. Posters highlight key insights and teaching resources generated by these and other projects from across campus that have brought faculty together to learn about campus climate and inclusive teaching. Enjoy lunch, engage in conversation with FCIT participants, and learn more about applying for funds to support new projects in Winter 2019.

For more information about the Faculty Communities for Teaching initiative or to apply for funds, see the FCIT webpage.
