Managing Academic Identities in Digital Spaces (An Online Workshop)

This online workshop explores strategies to facilitate meaningful academic exchanges with students and colleagues in digital spaces. Through a series of readings and activities, participants will:

  1. learn about best practices and considerations for managing academic identities across various digital platforms.

  2. explore specific advantages and challenges of facilitating student engagement in digital spaces.

  3. actively evaluate their own academic presence online.

  4. consider ways to leverage digital spaces to promote professional development and student learning.

Timeline

 

By 11/27: Workshop starts, complete intake survey and begin reviewing materials/completing assignments

By 12/7:  Workshop ends, complete all assignments and final survey

 

Full participation in this online workshop can count towards the “B2” requirement for the GTC program
