Making collaboration and group work happen online

With the transition to remote teaching and social distancing, many students and instructors may be feeling isolated and cut off from their usual communities. How can you as an instructor help your students connect with one another through their course work? This workshop will focus on different ways to facilitate student group work and collaboration online. We’ll discuss several options for structuring group work, see examples of group work in practice, and share ideas with colleagues. have an opportunity to discuss ways to transform activities you may have done in a face-to-face setting to a new environment.
