Peer Review in Online Spaces

How can instructors conduct peer review effectively in remote learning environments? In this asynchronous 5-day workshop, participants will explore and use features in Canvas and Google that are useful for facilitating online forms of peer review. Participants will also learn about creating peer review groups, encouraging student engagement with feedback, fostering accountability, and evaluating peer feedback in online spaces. This workshop is designed with a range of instructors in mind, from those who are new to remote teaching and peer review to those who are looking for new ways to encourage student engagement for large papers and projects. We will also host an optional one-hour synchronous Q&A session for those enrolled in the workshop on Thursday, February 25 at 4:00 pm EST.
