Making Groupwork Work in STEM

Group work is a key component of many engineering courses. Effective use of groups in the classroom can increase student learning and enhance students' problem-solving abilities if instructors ensure that all students are engaged and included. However, not all students find group work to be a positive experience. This synchronous seminar will incorporate materials and videos (featuring the CRLT-Players theater troupe) to help you identify ways to gather student feedback and use it to design successful group work activities.
