Peer Review in Online Spaces

Session Abstract: In this asynchronous 2-week workshop, participants will explore and use features in Canvas and Google that are useful for facilitating online forms of peer review. Participants will also learn about creating peer review groups, encouraging student engagement with feedback, fostering accountability, and evaluating peer feedback in online spaces. This workshop is designed with a range of instructors in mind, from those who are new to online peer review to those who are looking for new ways to encourage student engagement for large papers and projects.

Note: This workshop incorporates peer feedback as an important element. This means there will be several intermediate deadlines throughout the workshop (1/25, 1/30, 2/1).
