Learning Community on Undergraduate STEM Teaching

CRLT is hosting a learning community to support participants engaged in the “Evidence-based Undergraduate STEM Teaching” MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) offered through Coursera in fall 2014. In six weekly face-to-face meetings of the learning community, participants will apply what they learn from online readings, videos, and activities to the design of lessons and assignments they can use in future teaching opportunities. Participants will also interact with participants at other institutions through the online course. Participants should expect to spend a minimum of 4 hours per week on the required online materials. Additional optional materials and assignments will also be available.

Note: In addition to registering for the CRLT learning community on this webpage, participants will enroll in the online course through Coursera. The confirmation email will include a link to sign up for the online course.

Completion of the required online materials and attendance at all face-to-face meetings will fulfill requirement B3 for the Graduate Teacher Certificate.
