Canvas Faculty Learning Community: Session Two

This is the second of three Canvas Faculty Learning Community sessions.

You are not required attend each session to be a part of the Canvas FLC.

Each session will feature:

  • Canvas Update: CRLT and ITS will share a brief update on some aspect of Canvas at U-M.
  • Faculty Discussion: You will have an opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from other faculty who are using Canvas. The majority of each session will be devoted to discussion among faculty.
  • Your Feedback: We will ask you to share insights from your discussion to inform the future of Canvas at U-M.

For this session, our topics include:

  • Canvas Update:
    • Learning analytics in Canvas
    • Unit-level Canvas features a.k.a. “sub-account” features, e.g., curricular outcomes, shared rubrics, and unit-level analytics
  • Faculty Discussion: How have you used (or how might you use) analytics in Canvas for your courses?

This session is for faculty only, however GSIs currently teaching their own course may acquire an over-ride. Please indicate your teaching status in the comments section. You will be placed onto the waiting list until your status is reviewed.
