Gameful Learning with GradeCraft

This session is a hands-on GradeCraft workshop that focuses on best practices for adding gameful elements into your course. Participants will learn how to transfer the gameful elements from a syllabus or course plan into GradeCraft, an application that helps achieve the goal of increasing student engagement and supporting students' feelings of autonomy, belonging, and competence.

Participants are strongly encouraged to bring a syllabus and course plan, as well as a laptop. It is highly recommended that participants have an existing understanding of gameful learning pedagogy. (Faculty, please note: a three-session faculty learning community on gameful pedagogy begins 9/29.)
