Gameful Learning Community of Practice

This community of practice (CoP) intends to create a space for instructors to engage in meaningful and productive monthly discussions about their use of gameful principles in teaching. Participants will have an opportunity to share their own successes and challenges with gameful learning, will have the opportunity to connect with colleagues from multiple units on campus, and to contribute to the university’s effort to explore transformative teaching and learning. This CoP is open to anyone at U-M who is interested in thinking about the interplay of gameful design principles and learning, whether you have already integrated gameful elements into your teaching or are just beginning to consider the possibilities of gameful learning. Each meeting will have a general theme to be determined by participants at the first meeting of the term.

Lunch will be provided for the sessions.
