Teaching in a New Era: Exploring the Impacts of the 2016 Presidential Election (LUNCH event)

The 2016 election has affected the teaching and learning environment on campuses across the country. Many instructors are grappling with questions about how their teaching will or should change in the face of uncertainty about changing policies that could affect students and faculty, concerns about shifting norms of public discourse, and worry about incidents of violence and conflict on campus and beyond. This event will include informal roundtable discussions where faculty can think together with colleagues about how teaching--and being a teacher--might be different in the emerging era. Lunch will be provided.
