The Role of Institutional Agents in Promoting Equity & Inclusion in STEM Learning & Outcomes

CRLT, CRLT in Engineering, and the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) program are pleased to welcome Dr. Lindsey E. Malcom-Piqueux from the Center for Urban Education (CUE) at the University of Southern California. During this session, faculty and graduate student educators will come to understand the concepts of equity, equity-mindedness, and the importance of institutional agents in promoting student learning and outcomes in STEM fields. Dr. Malcolm-Piqueux will arm participants with specific strategies on how to promote equity and inclusion in STEM by employing equity-minded approaches inside and outside of the classroom. 

Please be aware that this session will be held on north campus at Pierpont Commons.
