Final Report Fields
Project Objectives:

Students visited the Comerica Park to meet with VP of Corporate Partnerships and VP of Marketing to hear from them about Detroit Tigers' general sponsorship and marketing strategies. Students also had an opportunity to learn more about a group project associated with the Tigers organization.

Project Achievements:

Students had an opportunity to work on a real-world problem to apply class concepts and theories to the real sponsorship context. Students were really engaged by visiting the Comerica Park and networking with executives. One student from this class in fact emailed me that he took a sponsorship position at the Washington Nationals' front office by putting this project experience in his resume. He said he used this project experience during the job interview. Engaging students with hands on projects solving real world problems is the main achievement of this project.

Continuation:
It will depend on the agreement between local professional teams and my class whether it would be feasible and meaningful to have a field trip to their venues.
Dissemination:
I share this activities with my colleagues during program meeting. I also share some interesting proposals from this project to other industry professionals to engage them and to bring in real-world projects.
