Assessment and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning

Understanding the impact of instruction on student learning is a key question nationally and at U-M. To answer this question, CRLT consults with faculty and administrators to design and analyze data from assessment projects, supports faculty investigation of student learning through grants, and facilitates the discussion and dissemination of assessment results.

Instructional Technology

Innovation in teaching and learning can take many forms, and instructional technology is often a key component. CRLT supports faculty throughout the innovation life cycle. CRLT helps faculty identify needs and implement new approaches and then facilitates processes to reward and publicize those innovative efforts. Throughout, CRLT's goal is to help link faculty together to learn from and share their most promising and inspiring practices.
